    Not feeling so good
So today i woke up feeling horrible, i woke up with a sore throat and nose all stuffed up, i don't know what i caught. As i recall yesterday i was constantly sneezing, every 2 sneeze every hour or every so often. So i got to work and picked up Tropicana 100% pure Orange Juice and chugged down a 15.2 FL OZ (450mL) bottle, and now I'm working on my 2nd bottle. I just hope i don't get sick that would so suck, i hate getting sick in summer time, that's the worse, and especially on a Friday? That would so suck for the weekend. Well I'm gonna keep medicating myself hopefully through out today to kill the viruses that have invaded my body. More update on health condition on Monday.

1/2 day Friday, going up north to check out Big Screen TVs, and what not, will post more and weekend news on Monday, i feel BLAH today.

    Taboo Food
    TV Show:
So last night i saw this show called the "Taboo Food" on National Geographic, I had seen an episode of this before like last year, and it was disturbing and disgusting how they eat the rarest and the most nastiest way. Last time the one i remember was they were eating some animal's fetus, unborn baby and how it was banded in some 3rd world country and you had to be on the downlow to get it and I found that repulsive. Last night i started it 1/2 way through the show and they were again somewhere in Asia or those islands near Asia and the delicacy was snake, yea so u heard ppl say they ate snake before and what not, but u've never seen it being prepared. What they do is keep cobras in a cake (like they have lobster in supermarket) they grab on, and they beat it and anger the snake so the blood starts flowing into the snakes body so the meat is juicier and they do all this in front of a mongoose which is a snakes mortal enemy, (off subject, but if u do a search on the web, and type in snake+enemy, u get humans are the worse enemy) so this do0d like opens up a can of whoop ass on the snake and then ties it by the face while its hanging the tail is right in front of the mongoose and its biting and annoying the 1/2 beaten and almost dead snake..and then he takes a knife and rips it right in the middle, and he takes all the blood and this juice out of the kidney or something and the customer drinks it ( the customer adds, "ever since I've been drinking snake blood, I've been feeling younger and stronger, and i was loosing my hair and they've started growing back") then strips the skin down and cooks the snake meat. it was HORRID i tell u, I'm afraid of snakes, but at this point i felt so bad. Then the show went on to FuGu fish in Japan and how poisonous and deadly it is and how ppl still risk their lives and eat this delicacy.

    Jinxed
Before I start, a friend inspired me to blog in a different technique, so here it goes.  Let me know what you think. I believe in getting jinxed, cuz I've experienced this phenomena numerous times.  For example today, I dragged myself upstairs to get a freshly baked bagel and I felt as if some one had place an enchanted spell on it, so while preparing my tasteful everything bagel double toasted to perfection, I proceeded to layer it generously with "ooy gooey kill yourself with cholesterol butter" and then avariciously topped another thick layer of  "mushy gushy block my arteries cream cheese", while in the process of trying to butter and cream my tender bagel I moronically dropped the contaminated knife on my black reunion slacks with slight grayish/white lines.  I was quick to react and grabbed the napkin of my desk almost like taking arti in a cramped Hindu temple, and started scrubbing my pants like one of those ladies in India who do their laundry by the river.  Later as I devoured the bagel in a fashion that resembled a lion tearing the flesh off an exhausted antelope in the Sierra region of Africa, and to my astonishing luck once again I was jinxed by the voodoo curse set upon me by the munchkin people from the wizard of oz and I dropped the last piece of bagel on the floor which bounced on my shoes and then proceeded to attach a bit of cream cheese to it while and it dramatically soiled my pants.   What do you believe in? God? Ghost? Aliens?

    Shop for a bargain
Yesterday after work i went shopping for the new place, couple of things i wanted to pick up and few thing i wanted to get for the weekend, I did find most of the things. I like going shopping and comparing prices and getting the best deals, if your one of those that go into a store and buy what you need regardless of the price, then your paying too much. It definitely pays to shop around, this applies with anything you buy.

My cousin told me about this new tool, where you can post pictures on blogspot, so I'm excited about that as soon as i get internet connection at home, I'll be able to download the software and start using it. If your interested in posting pictures on your blog, check this out and this too.

Place update: The place is pretty much ready, only thing we're waiting on is for the dinning table, cuz when they brought it in last Saturday one of the side wouldn't line up and what not, see this is where i can use pictures to show what I'm talking about.

    Monday BLAH

Well the weekend was mad slow and boring, didn't do anything. Saturday woke up early and watched cartoons, later in the day cleaned up the place and sorted out things and what not, Sunday same thing, woke up played video game (Need for Speed Underground) most of the day, wifey made aloo pharatha, and i made angel hair spaghetti on Friday for dinner. I like the fact that we're cooking now cuz its fun and a learning experience, personally i like to cook anything (all veg ofcourse). I was thinking about working at Taco Bell part-time on weekends, cuz i LOVE taco bell.

Sunday, we finally signed up for Comcast, and picked up the router and what not, so hopefully I'll have Internet connections at home, yAy.

How was your weekend? I'm sure it was better then mine.

    I LOVE FRIDAYs
Its a great feeling, to know you only have a 1/2 day of work, for the next two days won't need to come into work and instead sleep in late as i want. YaY

Yesterday, could technically qualify as 1/2 day as well, around 11:30 we left work to the Ball game again (see previous post). It wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be as far as weather, we ended up sitting in the shaded area, i prolly got hit with the sun for about 1hr or so. The sad part is the Phillies lost, but they kept the game interesting, almost caught up at the end; i did get a chance to socialize with the group/department i work with, usually we never talk, everyone's in their cube minding they're own business.

    Any plans for the weekend?

    What Is Love
    by Leon Phelps
What is love? What is this longing in our hearts for togetherness? Is it not the sweetest flower? Does not this flower of love have the fragrant aroma of fine fine dinning? Does not the wind love the dirt? Is not love not unlike the unlikely not it is unliking too? Are you with someone tonight? Don't be shy, take yo lova by the hand, release the power within yo'self. YOU HEARD ME! Release the power! Tame the wild cosmos with a whisper; concur heaven with one intimate caress. That's right, don't be shy without everything you got and DO IT IN THE BUTT!

    The big move
This Sunday was the big day, the official move in date 7.18.004. We had actually been moving stuff in since Friday, and the furniture came in on Saturday. Saturday night we slept over, so Sunday was the 1st day we stayed at the new place for the full day, we were gonna go grocery shopping, but since it was raining cats and dog, we decided to stay in. I'm still trying to get used to the whole new environment and the big move, since my whole life I've been under my parents roof. I miss everyone, its weird they're only 10-15mins away, but being out of the house is a bit strange.

Today the carpet guy was coming again to install the carpet in the guest bedroom, so i tried to sleep in, but i got a call at 7am that the carpet guy would come somewhere in between 7:30-9am, so i said ok and went back to bed, after 15mins trying to fall back to sleep, i decided to walk to the front door to check through the peep hole, and i saw someone out there, i didn't even have my contacts/glasses on, and there was the carpet guys, so i just let them in, called my boss told him I'll be in a little late. Around 8ish they were done and left, so i got ready and got to work by 9am.

    Breakfast
Today i decided to go up to our cafeteria and grab something to eat, i go up and i see muffins, I'm not a big fan of muffins, but i get these cravings for chocolate chip muffins. I spotted the last one, and grabbed it quickly, and checked out. Back at my desk, I'm eating it, and i realize it isn't fresh, so i say to myself "i bet this was from yesterday", i don't even taste the freshness, taste like it was made in Camden yesterday. Now I'm contemplating 1/2 way through my muffin whether i should take it back up or not?

    What would you do?

    Fortune Cookie
I had Indian food for lunch today, brought in last nights leftover, but i still got a fortune cookie; long story.

Fortune for the day: "You will be fortunate in everything you put your hands to."

So i was thinking about putting my hands down my pants. :D
    Bloggers
History: I started blogging 2001, cuz my cousin is the one that got me started, and i used to read his blogs, and i said to myself, i should blog too, and that's how i got started. Today: So far i've got 4-5 people blogging, yes I influenced them. One of which was my wife, she began and maybe posted like 5 posts, then she quit. Then there is Nirals "improper" blog and thenKris, she's a regular now, Yogesh started his unsober blog, Smitha joined too, and now there is Maya, she just started and she seems to be off the hook, blogging multiple times a day, or maybe she just likes to talk/blog alot.

    Breakfast
I feel like sharing my not so appetizing breakfast, people normally would eat their toast with jelly. Let me start with the History, Before i came to the US we made a stop in UK for 2 weeks in 1989 where we visited my Masi (mom's sister). There for the 1st time i had toast, my masi told me to eat it with jelly, i insisted on eating it with ketchup cuz i just thought it would taste better. I'm not the kinda person that likes sweet, and umm jelly's sweet. I do once in a while eat peanut butter and jelly, but i prefer my bread toasted, spread alot of butter/margarine and eat it with ketchup. you should try it, i drink my chocolate milk with it. YUM

How do u eat/like your toast?

    Boooo its Monday
I was going to write/type a long blog, and then decided it would be a waste of words, since no one ever reads this, so i figured I'd keep it short and brief for my self amusement.

Friday after work went home and we worked on finish painting the whole place, all the ceilings were left and few touch up here n there, we spent most of the time painting the ceilings and then spent the 1st night there, it was a bit weird, i kept hearing noises, or i was just paranoid. Human instinct to be awake n aware when in new area, but soon i fell asleep as i was tired.

Saturday i had to wait around the place for the Carpet guy to come measures the 2 bedrooms, where we decided to install carpet. Also that afternoon the Window guy was coming to give us an estimate to replaced the windows, soon after that i went home, which was around 3pm. Got home, ate watch lil TV and showered and got ready to go to my cousins get together/farewell. They're moving to Dallas and so she had a get together, all the cousins hung out, mingled, drank, ate, had lots of fun. Towards the end of the night, we deiced to make prank calls, so we picked up the phone book and started dialing #s and asking questions such as "do you sell condoms, can i come in and try them on before i buy them", "i need a room to get jiggy jiggy", called banks to convert Yens into dollars, and so on. It is had to be there moments, so they won't make too much sense.

I said i was going to keep this brief, but its turning into a long blog, well expect long blogs on Mondays, since its 3 days blog. so as i was saying.

Sunday, woke up and Dad and i went to my house to finish installing the siding on the Pergo wood flooring we installed. My dad was cutting the pieces while i nailed them down. We got 1/2 way done, as we only had 2hrs to work, since my dad had to go. So got home and ate lunch, watched TV, and then decided to wash my car, since i had to go to the car meet, then showered and got dressed and went to the meet around 7pm. Hung out for 1hr came home ate dinner watched some more TV, and went to bed.

Movies watched this weekend: Shrek 2, American Chai, Holes I liked both of the movies they were both funny and entertaining. Shrek 2 had a lil drama in the story, but all in all it was funny. American Chai was a bit played out from American Desi, like how a desi kid grows up in America and what not, but it was fun to watch. Finally Holes, i already seen this movie like twice before, and i still sat there Sunday night watching it again. That's all for now

    And how was your weekend?

    YaY its Friday !!
I love Fridays, they're so freaking great, one of my favorite day, next to Saturday. Well today after work going home and finish painting the ceilings and touch up here n there, fill in holes with compound putty and clean up the mess we've made. Today will be the 1st night we'll be staying there, it should be fun and interesting. I'm just excited about the whole thing, and i can't wait till the whole place is just the way we want it to be, once everything cleaned up and all the furniture is moved in.

Saturday/Tomorrow prolly waking up and working a lil more, i got the carpet guy from home depot coming for measurement and window guy to give us an estimate for replacing the windows, then in the evening going to my cousin's get together/farewell.

Sunday I'm not sure yet, prolly finish up whatever left at the house and if weather n time permits i may head up to our car club meeting at Deptford K-Mart.

That's all for now, have a great weekend.
What are your plans for the weekend?

    Home saweet home
Most of you have heard, and if you haven't well your hearing it now. We purchased a house/condo, and are very excited to new adventure. For the past 3 days, we've been working our asses of trying to fix the place up. We painted all the rooms, removed the carpeting and installed Pergo wood flooring in the living room, we installed recessed lighting in the living room. My brother in law, brother, and dad did most of the work and i helped as needed, cuz i was multitasking. It was a nonstop from the time we got up and drove over which was around 10am and we wouldn't stop working till like past 12 midnight, so like 14hrs nonstop working for 3 days straight. Everyone was there, the whole family (mom,dad,bro,sis-in-law,2sisters,bro-in-law,wife and me) helping and cleaning and fixing and painting, and washing, and repairing etc.etc.etc. Its like this will never end, i think its safe to say we're past more then 1/2 way done (knock on wood). I'll try to post some pictures up before and after shots.

(note to self, figure out how to post pictures or link pictures)

    T r i C k
I call it the Pepsi trick, since I'm almost always drinking Pepsi in the can. Here's how you do the trick, before i get started i want to add, some of you may already know this trick, but for those who don't here how to perform it. Get a 12oz can(standard), preferably Pepsi in my case. The cans about 5inch tall, so what you want to do is, drink 4inch(or 3/4) of the drink. Leaving about 1inch left in the can. Now here's the tricky part, you have to tilt the can about 45 degree, try to hold it and balance it with two hands till the "can" can stay on its own. Don't be rough with the can, since there is some beverage remaining in the can which will move around and cause the can to be unstable. So if you done it correctly you should have a neat can trick, if for some reason it does not work, it maybe cuz the amount of drink still left in the can might not be the correct measurement you have to play with it and you'll get it. It amazes me every time i do it, and its so cool to have it tilt at 45 degree and look at it from a distant, amaze co-workers during lunch and impress your friends and family at home with the Pepsi Trick.
Do you know any tricks that you want to share?
If so, post it in the comment

P.s. speaking of Pepsi, and if you happen to drink Pepsi, you might have noticed the promotional bottles and other promotional items which have the Billionsweeps Codes, the one's I've been collecting are under the yellow caps of the bottles. its a 10 digit code. If you happen to have it laying around or come by one in the near future please email me those codes. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

    INDIAN MOM

Mom comes to visit her son Kumar for dinner...who lives with a girl roommate Sunita. During the course of the meal, his mother couldn't help but notice how pretty Kumar's, roommate was. She had long been suspicious of a relationship between the two, and this had only made her more curious. Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she started to wonder if there was more between Kumar and his roommate than met the eye. Reading his mom's thoughts, Kumar volunteered, "I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you, Sunita and I are just roommates."

About a week later, Sunita came to Kumar saying, "Ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the silver chutney jar. You don't suppose she took it, do you?" "Well, I doubt it, but I'll email her, just to be sure." So he sat down and wrote:

    Dear Mother,
I'm not saying that you 'did' take the chutney jar from my house, I'm not saying that you 'did not' take the chutney jar. But the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.
    Love,
    Kumar

Several days later, Kumar received an email from his Mother, which read:
    Dear Son,
I'm not saying that you 'do' sleep with Sunita, and I'm not saying that you 'do not' sleep with Sunita. But the fact remains that if she was sleeping in her OWN bed, she would have found the chutney jar by now.
    Love,
    Mom.

Lesson of the day... Don't Lie to Your Mother...she's any day smarter than you are...
