    Alcohoroscopes
    CAPRICORN:
    Drinking style:

Capricorn is usually described as practical, steadfast, money-hungry and status-thirsty -- no wonder they get left off the astrological cocktail-party list. But this is the sign of David Bowie and Annie Lennox, not to mention Elvis. Capricorn is the true rock star: independent, powerful and seriously charismatic, not too eager to please. And if they make money being themselves, who are you to quibble? But just like most rock stars, they're either totally on or totally off, and they generally need a little social lubricant to loosen up and enjoy the after party, especially if they can hook up with a cute groupie.

Want your Alcohoroscope? leave a comment and i'll post it up. ;)

Johnnie Walker - Journey of Taste
Yesterday after work i went to the Johnnie Walker - Journey of Taste with my wife, she got an invitation. While we were at the cocktail party i asked where she got the invitation the sources are unknown. I didn't care too much, long as we were there, eating and drinking. I had a blast, only thing that upset me was the stupid parking, there is no parking anywhere on the streets of philly, and i had to park it in the Double Tree Inn parking garage. Through out the evening they had cocktails, hors d'oeuvers, and an educational whisky tasting session. I got there and headed straight for the food, i had lite lunch and didn't want to hit the drinks right away (smart drinker). They had lots of cheese and crackers and some other non-vegetarian pastries which i didn't bother with. They also has this other interesting item, it was pastry puff shaped like samosa(indian food), stuffed with spinach, cheese, and I believe onion, but I enjoyed the roasted peppers, with cheese on the piece of Italian bread the most. I got myself Johnnie Walker (JW) black label sour, i had never tried it and from one of the booklet they provided that was the only drink that sounded interesting. They were serving the followings:
    JW and Ginger ale
    JW and cola
    JW sour
    JW on the rocks
    JW manhattan
    JW rusty nail

I didn't bother trying others, except taking few sips of JW with Ginger ale from my wife's glass, which i happened to finish 1/2 glass of and finished my drink in 30min period, that cocktail was from 6pm to 6:30, and they had the herd moved into the auditorium, where they laid out countless shot glasses of JW, 5 per each person and there were about 100-125 people there roughly. So we sat down and there were 5 shot glasses on a board which showed what each of the shots were, and we saw the history and an educational whisky presentation, the host was wearing a quilt, and he even played the bag pipes. Finally after that we were going to taste the whisky they had 3 new flavors and they are Fresh fruits, Earthy smoke, and Rich fruits, and i mentioned before there were total of 5 shots, the other 2 shots were of the traditional JW black label. We did the sampling and learned how to taste and test whisky and by the end of the night i had a decent buzz, on the way out i was hoping to get a bottle or two of the samples, instead they handed out JW pins. I just thought to myself, more then 1/2 of the crowd was drunk, why would they hand out more whisky, i don't think they'd want to be held responsible for the people that attended the event. I had a blast and it was fun, interesting and educational.

[Previous Post Deleted] It was screwing up my blog template. So i figured I'd mess around with the template and hopefully get it to the way i like it. Playing around little by little and it should come along just fine. Anyone want to volunteer to wash my car?
I'm feeling the pressure of blogging again, its like i have to blog, i need to blog, my day wont be normal without blogging. I hate that feeling, i should just delete this and everything with it and forget about it. I already lost my template and all the links and counter, etc. On the other hand i could continue with what i have and force myself to blog every week. I'm not sure what i want, I'm not even sure what i want in life, i feel so lost and confused.

    My life sucks

I went to bed last night, and i couldn't sleep maybe cuz i took an evening nap cuz i had a really really bad headache. But while i was laying in bed, i couldn't help but think where did i go wrong in life that it has come to this point, it was kinda of disturbing and it's still bothering me and i couldn't help it but admit my life sucks big time.

Weekend was ok, same as usual, Friday went up north jersey came home in the evening, brought my self those "red bulls", but the case of 24 i got are called "red ice" looks, taste n the cans are almost the same. i got this from the "Hong Kong supermarket", i don't mean to offend anyone when i make my comment, but when i walked in there it smell horrible i just couldn't help but feel disgusted. it smelled like raw fish and that other body part that I'm not going to mention on here. So i got home and i drank some vodka n red ice, this drinks always good gets you a nice buzz. Saturday woke up, went shopping, then did my oil change, and in the evening went to Philly, got home and played cards with family (the young crowd) we were gambling and drinking. Playing pennies, nickel, dime, and quarters, after 5 beers i was buzzing and i was taken an advantage of and i was playing quarters. I think i lost between 5-10 bucks. I won most of the pennies game and lost the quarter games, that kinda sucked. Sunday was fathers day, and i made a lil BBQ, with veggies hot dogs n veggie burgers. Most of the evening my bro n i were working on the computer cuz my harddrive crashed, well my bro did most of the work he's good at that stuff and had my computer up and running. This is when i took my nap, cuz of my headache and woke up at Dinner time, Dad didn't want to do anything special so we just ordered pizza and called it a night.

Welcome back to 2nd edition of long, boring, and mumbling blog. Day 2, woke up got there, food was decent at the hotel for lunch, all we did was sit there and eat all day. i think I've put on few pounds in the last 3 days. End of day 2 was our trip to Battleship NJ at the waterfront in south jersey. This was fun/informative, we took the Firepower tour which is more intense then other tours, this one takes you where no other tour has gone before. All in all it was a good trip, we saw some very interesting things on there, such as gigantic weapons that weigh more then few tons, and it was crazy how they built ships like that back in the days with limited amount of technology. I remember there was this one gun, it took around 30-45men to operate. you'd be surprised to learn some of the interesting and crazy facts about the ship. I'm not going through all of them, if you want take the tour and/or check out this link for more information. So after the Battleship tour, we had dinner reservations at the New Deck Taverns, one of our co-worker recommended the place, said it was like 4star restaurant or something, but when we got there it looked like another Irish pub, ofcourse we had large number of people(12-13) so they took us in the basement "party room". We were the only group down there for the evening, that's where things got interesting. If you know me, you know I'm not a fish when it comes to drinking, so i was with guys who drank alot, and i ended up keeping up wit most of the guys. We had all around drinks every 10-15mins, we were there for roughly 2hr or so. i didn't know what to get, Corona or Lager, and i decided to wit the lager, this is a heavy drink if u didn't know, so i was trying to drink and keep up with eating since its not a good idea to drink on an empty stomach. I ended up drinking like 4 beers in like 30-45min time. I had appetizer, veggies burger and fries, and 4-5beers, i was so full i was going to puke, but i didn't. Then we had to walk back to the hotel from the restaurant, which was a good idea to walk it off, it wasn't far like 1 1/2 block away from the restaurant to hotel. So i got there and it was around 8:45ish, got my keys from the valet and headed home, i was a lil buzzed and didn't know where i was going in the city, so I'd pull up to the traffic light and just ask, how do i get to NJ. I ended up going in the right direction and getting home quickly. Got home watch lil tv and went to bed. Day 3, we had to be at the hotel at 7:15 cuz day 3 was a little different from the last 2 days. We had a room reserved at the Univ. of Penn, so we all had to meet at the hotel and take a walk down the block. We got there and had our meeting and we were finished by 1pm, and then i just came back to work, cuz i knew my boss would expect us to be there, so i didn't bother asking weather we could go home or work. Besides today's Friday and leaving at 12pm heading up north jersey for the evening, and returning back tonight.

So for the last 3 days, I've been going to offsite meetings. 1st was on Tuesday, the meetings were held at The Inn at Penn in Philadelphia, i got there around 8ish just in time gave my car to have it parked in valet. I wasn't sure if it was a good idea, having a stranger drive my car not knowing the correct functionality. (i.e, when pulling on/off a driveway have to be low enough for my car to go over, if its low enough the car has to be taken on as a slant, so the body kit(ground effects) don't scrape) etc. so i gave the keys and got a stub and headed for the meeting. I was just in time to make it and grab some breakfast (continental breakfast at the hotel) I forgot what i had by now. newho, so let me just give you an idea of the 3 day meeting agenda. Tuesday was meeting all day, then a baseball game at the Citizen Bank stadium (the new phillies stadium). So after the meeting we went there and as soon as we got in our seats at the ballpark, we heard thunder and before we knew it, it was pouring down for atleast and 1hr, so the game was postponed and we had to stay dry, speaking of dry i got me a beer. I got Budweiser Large $6, i could buy a 6pack for that price, but we all know the rip off prices, and ofcourse it was dinner time so i got my self 2 slices of pizza they weren't too bad. so the rain finally stopped at around 8:30ish. The original start time was 7:05pm, but they ended up setting up the field back and before we knew it, it was i guess 8:45-9ish when the game finally begun. We had a pick up service from 5pm drop to 10pm pick up so we only stayed for like 4hr or so, but only like 1hr for the game, i guess i don't remember. I know we left at the 4th Inning and the score was 5 to 1 Detroit. The limousine service dropped us back at the hotel around 10:30ish, and i drove back home and it was around 11ish by now, i got home and ended up watching the Lakers & "Detroit" Piston game. I tuned in around the mid-3rd quarter and ofcourse the Pistons were beating the piss out of the lakers. [insert lame joke](No, they didn't piss on their uniform its actually "yellow"). I would say i went to bed at 12pm and i had to wake up early and get to Day 2 of the meeting. So i woke up in time got ready and headed back to the hotel. [tune in tomorrow for the rest of the story]

Sorry to cut it short, but its long as it is(it would double its length, if continued) and besides it'll give me an excuse to blog again tomorrow. :)

I CAN'T BELIEVE I STARTED AGAIN Jayesh's blog, date June 8th 2004, Woke up today feeling very dizzy, couldn't barely walk to the bathroom, it seemed very bad at first; as i went out of the room and up the stairs i threw myself to the sides of the wall trying to hold my balance. I don't think i've ever woken up like this before, it was a strange experience yet interesting i guess something different. That's it for now, i don't wanna start off with 2 pages of blogging. But i still can't believe it, i'm blogging again.
