Games: The $39.99 adapter will debut in August and will have ports for dial-up and broadband connections.
Sony Developing Tiny Vaio Computer
Sony Corp. said it was developing the world's smallest personal computer that would run on Microsoft Corp.'s latest software, combining the convenience of a notebook computer with the flexibility of a hand-held PC. Vaio U has a button on the upper end of a keyboard that enables users to operate the computer with the thumbs. The prototype has a hard-disk drive but no slots for compact discs or DVDs.
A New Nintendo?
A more mature lineup of games is part of effort to recast the GameCube maker's image.
